
Reading Week
This week, since it was Reading Week, we decided to complete some things on our own. New shader blocks, adding more mechanics for prototype, new backgrounds and getting character animations started.

Character Animations
Lineart of character animations (idle, running, jumping) were worked on and completed within these 2 weeks.
Ramisha Wasim
2D Backgrounds, Menu, and Sounds
Made 2D backgrounds to see if they would fit the aesthetic better and created a menu screen to lead into the game. Found and collected sound effects for the game.

Shaders
Further modifications to shaders, included a new electric block shader.
Kenny Su
Coding
Blocks now snap to a grid when being placed. Blocks also change colour to indicate where it can or can not be placed.

Created Demolisher script that allows player to delete blocks they've placed. One click to select the block. Clicking on the select block again will confirm to delete said block.

Created a UI for the builder element. A panel that contains a selection of blocks for players to use.

The level also contains bounds wherein blocks can not be placed outside of, where players are killed and then respawned after, and projectiles get deleted to save performance.

Coding Script Revisions
Modified Kenny's code whenever there happened to be any major bugs in it. Acted as backup and support whenever Kenny required it. Offered his own rehashes on the code as well.
