Big Progress Made!

Fixing the system of our platformer, making sure that the build is ready for playtesting. Putting separate components together to make it feel more like a game. This was perhaps the most we had ever made in terms of progress.

Cindy Vu

Simple Animations & Textures

Worked on a set of sparkle sprite sheets, a metal texture for the title screen's font. Death sprites were done for all characters. 2 character title sprites were also drawn.

Ramisha Wasim

Art and Sound

Setting up Menu and making placeholder Rules page, Making background textures for buttons and finding background music for the game.

Alexandro Di Nunzio

Particle Systems

Created and implemented particle systems for character effects and interactions with the environment. The geyser particle system now works with the geyser block's hitbox.

Kenny Su

Programming 

First Implementation of the game options and settings and Score system for game.

Score options can enable penalties for dying and adjusting score bonuses for the winners and level builders.

Results are reflected on the in-game UI score panel.

Juan Callejas

Programming, UI, Design

Making the platformer feel better, fixing the grid, user play, and game feel. Reworking the design of the game scene and fixing program code for bugs.
